A promotion does not change the house edge

Gambling carries a real risk of financial loss. A bonus or free bet does not create a reliable way to make money, recover losses or improve long-term odds. Decide a time and spending limit before starting, and treat that amount as entertainment cost.

• Borrowing, missing bills or hiding spending from people you trust.
• Playing longer than intended or feeling unable to stop.
• Using gambling to escape distress, conflict or financial pressure.
