A free bet, bet credit, odds boost and stake refund are different mechanisms. The stake may not be returned with winnings, a boost may have a maximum stake, and a refund may be paid as restricted credit rather than cash.
Compare the qualifying wager and the reward separately. Both can have minimum odds, market exclusions, time limits and settlement rules.
Fields to compare
A useful sportsbook listing should state these facts without compressing them.
- Qualifying wager amount and minimum odds.
- Eligible bet types, sports and markets.
- Reward form and whether stake is returned.
- Maximum stake or winnings attached to the reward.
- Void, cash-out, postponement and expiry treatment.
