Verify an online casino licence with an official regulator, match the exact website address and confirm the legal entity before creating an account.

Verify with the market authority
An operator name, logo or sponsorship does not establish authorization in your location. Start with the official regulator or market directory and confirm that the listed website matches the address you intend to visit.
For Ontario, iGaming Ontario publishes the sites offered by operators contracted for the regulated market. Legal age and availability differ elsewhere.
Match the details
Look for consistency across the official listing and operator site.
- Exact website hostname, including regional subdomain.
- Operator or legal entity name.
- Permitted product category and jurisdiction.
- Secure HTTPS connection and current responsible-gambling information.
What a licence check does not prove
A valid licence confirms regulatory status for a particular entity, product and market. It does not guarantee that every promotion suits every player or that a similarly named website is connected to the licensed business.
Repeat the check when the hostname, operator entity or market changes. Use the regulator link on a casino profile as a starting point, then rely on the regulator’s current public record.
A licence number should match the named business and jurisdiction. If the public record is suspended, expired or limited to another product, do not treat it as current authorization for the site you are viewing.
